I have taken up cross stitching, I've started a very large pattern of the 151 Gen 1 Pokemon, it is huge.
but
as a side project I decided to try something called a waste material technique where you pin aida to a garment, stitch, then pull out all the strands of aida.
I made a corgi.

Zelda
More Empty Wall Art, I painted Link from Minish Cap, because I am playing that game at the moment.
Here is my wall so far:
OMG I PUT A LINK ON MY WALL HURR DURR.
(Slipknot...)
Bandicoots
I have been doing something different recently, namely painting. I have fit this into my busy schedule of doing nothing and sleeping. I have an empty space on my wall now bereft of posters from a bygone era of teenage band obsession. I needed something to fill it.
I thought;
What goes on a wall?
Art.
What do i like?
Video games.
Boom.
Project.
I used this instructable, but I make aku aku instead of uka uka.
I left the wooden face unpainted because it was a dark wood and I liked the grain, okay. Gah

Gauntlet Pair
I made the other hand of the gauntlets. Pictures of this hand start where the other hand left off, if you want to see the whole build, mirror the pictures of the left hand and then look at the right.
This one got finger tips first rather that last.
Lobster tail hand
COMBINED!
What I've done that annoyed me was that I put both the buckles and hinges on the same side rather that opposite so they mirror, changing it would require a whole new sheet of metal or unsightly holes.
(Taking pictures with no hands is hard)
And the finished product.
I'm thinking maybe spaulders next, maybe some chainmaille for over my elbows.

Gauntlet
So I made this gauntlet, I used brass sheet, leather gloves and pop rivets, all from ebay
Brass sheet, I used 4 of these and drew around the cardboard pieces, terrible flash picture.
This is a later piece for the larger parts.
Then cut them out with some metal shears and bent them into shape.
Leather glove. Adding pieces to it and riveting the through the glove. I used my mini vice to close the rivets.
Then I stopped taking regular pictures for some silly reason, but this is the finished piece.
Found some hinges in a a DIY shop, riveted.
Strap used to be on some lady boots.
Bootstraps, bootstraps.
I especially like the thumb.
And I am starting on a right hand one too.

Nuts
Made a nut ring for myself, the nut was originally silver coloured but then when I sanded it it went brass coloured. Ah well I still think it looks good. Will make more to sell.

New key
Made another key, tried a different style of teeth, it was a pain in the ass soldering the little bits together.
